Hyunjin Roh

Hyunjin is recognised for her talent, winning Grand Prize at the Seoul Arts High School Solo and Chamber Music Competitions, The Music Association of Korea Competition, and First Prize at the Young Chang Music Competition (2017) and Korean Liszt Competition (2016).

After graduating from Yewon School, Hyunjin Roh went on to study at Seoul Arts High School, receiving the Shin Soo-jung Scholarship, Music Award, Achievement Award, and Practical Excellence Award, and is currently a freshman at Seoul National University under the guidance of Professor Joo Hee-sung. 

Since childhood, Hyunjin Roh has won more than 40 music competitions including the Ewha Kyunghyang Competition, the Overseas Dispatched Competition, the Teenager Competition and the Repair Music Competition. In recent years she has continued to be recognised for her talent, winning Grand Prize at the Seoul Arts High School Solo and Chamber Music Competitions, The Music Association of Korea Competition, and First Prize at the Young Chang Music Competition (2017) and Korean Liszt Competition (2016). She earned the highest score in all categories at the 45th Central Music Competition in 2019, and gained particular attention by receiving the jury’s unanimous approval for the top prize in all categories. 

Performing on stage regularly — Hyunjin’s performances have included appearances at Seoul Arts High School, Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra.
