Junior Membership invites young pianists aged under 19 behind the scenes of the Leeds International Piano Competition, where many of today’s most exciting musicians launched their international careers — musicians who once began just like our Junior Members.

Through artist insights, practice tips, behind-the-scenes stories and special opportunities, Junior Members get closer to the musicians and music that make The Leeds so special.

Wherever they live — in Leeds, across the UK, or anywhere else — Junior Membership is a welcoming doorway into the Leeds piano community.

Many young members join through the encouragement of their piano teachers, who share opportunities from The Leeds with their students.
