Anfisa studied at the National Music Academy of Ukraine in the class of Honoured Artist, Professor Yuriy Kot. In 2015 she completed her master’s degree, graduating with honours, and is currently a student of Professor Libor Novacek at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria.
The Ukrainian pianist has won prizes at several international piano competitions, including First prize at Fausto Zadra Piano Competition in Abano Terme, Italy (2020); First prize at Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, CT, USA (2020); First prize at Martha Debelli Scholarship Competition in Graz, Austria (2019); First prize at International Music Competition Premio Città di Padova in Padova, Italy (2018); Third prize and special prize at Bela Bartok International Piano Competition in Graz, Austria (2017) and Third prize at Shostakovich Piano Competition in Dnipro, Ukraine (2016) – amongst others.
Anfisa has attended masterclasses with musicians including Robert Lewin, Milana Cherniavska, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Christoph Sischka, Antonio di Cristofano, Sergio di Simone, Sontraud Speidel, Sofja Guljak, Oleg Stepanov, Volodymyr Vynnytskyi, Hugo Ticciati and Kevin Lawrence. She has received scholarships from the Martha Debelli Foundation, City of Graz, Society of Friends of University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, and since October 2017 has been a member of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.
Bobylova also performs chamber music with her colleagues – violinist Tetiana Lutsyk and the Lemberg Piano Trio – with whom she has won prizes at international competitions and performed at several music festivals. She is interested in historically informed performance, plays harpsichord and fortepiano and has recorded Mozart’s sonatas on fortepiano for Klangdebüt Graz.
