Sung Ho Yoo, born in 1996 in Seoul, discovered his passion for music at the age of seven when he began his piano studies. Graduating top of his class with a Bachelor’s Degree from the Korea National University of Arts under Daejin Kim’s mentorship, he further honed his skills with a Master’s Degree at the New England Conservatory under Dang Thai Son.

Yoo’s exceptional talent has garnered international recognition, including a special prize at the 2018 Geneva International Music Competition and an award at the 2021 Seoul International Music Competition. His performances with renowned orchestras, such as the Novaya Rossiya State Symphony Orchestra in Moscow under the artistic direction of Yuri Bashmet, have earned him acclaim.

He has showcased his versatility by performing iconic pieces like Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Beethoven’s Concerto No. 3, among others, with orchestras like the DITTO Orchestra and the KBS Symphony Orchestra. Yoo’s contributions to the development of music at the Korea National University of Arts were recognized with the prestigious President’s Award in 2019. He continues to impress audiences worldwide with his diverse repertoire, appearing at esteemed music festivals like the Seoul International Music Festival and M Classical Music Festival in Seoul.
