Dina Ivanova, 29, captivates audiences with her spellbinding performances, described as powerful, magical, and diabolic. Hailing from Ryazan, Russia (b. 1994), Ivanova has garnered acclaim through numerous competitions, securing second prize at the Liszt Competition in Weimar and the Ricardo Vines Competition in Spain, among others. Noteworthy accolades include an Honorary Mention Award at the Paderewski Competition in Poland and the Artist Recognition Award at the International Keyboard Festival in New York. She received a Junior Jury award at the Busoni Piano Competition in Balzano (2021) and in 2023 claimed first prize at the Domenico Scarlatti Competition in Trapani. Ivanova’s musical journey began under her mother’s guidance at age four, leading to studies at the Central Music School and Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and later at the Hochschule fur Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar with Professor Grigory Gruzman. Currently under the mentorship of Professor Kirill Gerstein at the Hochschule fur Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, Ivanova’s talent has graced prestigious venues worldwide, including her debut performances with the Berliner Philharmonie and appearances with the Thuringer Philharmonie and the Israel Symphony Orchestra. As part of the Career Development Programme by Utrecht’s Liszt Piano Competition, Ivanova embarked on an extensive concert tour, showcasing her artistry across continents.
