Schools
Our music education programme uses the piano to spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong connection to music.
We believe every child deserves access to inspiring musical experiences, which is why the Competition reaches beyond the concert hall into classrooms across the UK and beyond.

One Small Step
One Small Step follows the adventures of Joanna Pianna and her wonderfully chaotic Music Mayhem Machine, travelling through time to share music from the past, present and future. Along the way, the children meet Joanna, a grumpy old piano with a big problem: she has forgotten the final line of her special song about caring for the planet.

Count Me In
A music and maths adventure for primary schools around the world.
Count Me In! is an imaginative programme for Key Stage 2 pupils (ages 7–11) that brings music and maths vividly to life. Created by presenter and composer Tim Redmond for the Leeds International Piano Competition, the project features star pianist Alexandra Dariescu, with the Grieg Piano Concerto at its heart.
