We champion the piano in surprising ways, helping to reach new audiences – locally, nationally, internationally and digitally.

The piano is at the heart of everything we do.

Through learning, participation and performance, we open doors for people of all ages to discover, enjoy and connect with piano music, from first encounters to world-class experiences in Leeds, Bradford and beyond.

Schools & Learning

Since 2023, more than 3,000 Leeds schoolchildren have experienced our projects. These have included interactive concerts and workshops for primary schools and projects to support the A Level music curriculum. In 2024 we launched our brand new Schools Piano Trail, which saw secondary school students perform on pianos we have provided to primary schools across Leeds.

Piano Trail

Our public pianos can be found across Leeds and Bradford, inviting everyone to stop, play, and enjoy live music in shared spaces. Supported by partners including the University of Leeds, Leeds City Council, Bradford Council, Arts Council England, Big Give, LeedsBID, Besbrode Pianos and Steinway & Sons, the Piano Trail brings creativity to streets, squares and communities throughout the region.
