Opening the season is one of the great pianists of today, the Argentinian Ingrid Fliter, in a wonderfully rich and varied programme that plays to her poetic strengths. She is playing three masterpieces by Haydn, Beethoven and Schumann, the latter featured in one of his greatest works for the piano, the Symphonic Etudes.
