The draw for the Second Round schedule has now been made. You can now find out full details of the order of Competitors and their programmes here. Our Opus 24 supporters joined all the Competitors and the Team for a special Welcome Reception and draw of lots for each session made by Professor Karen Burland Clark, Head of the School of Music at the University of Leeds. This reception was kindly supported by the Alink Argerich Foundation.
Competitor Update:
Due to a variety of reasons, some of our Competitors have been forced to withdraw and our second round cohort is now 22 pianists. This means that the evening session on Friday 10th will present 2 Competitors’ performances instead of 4. We are inviting audiences to stay in person for the nail-biting Jury results, which will take place 45 minutes after the last performance on Friday night. If you have purchased a ticket, please contact the box office to request a discount for another event.
