The sixteenth Leeds International Pianoforte Competition is just over a year away and I hope that our 2006 Competition has fulfilled its aims and objectives in helping to promote the careers of some of the winners. I am pleased to tell you that all six finalists have received very good engagements at festivals and concerts throughout the world.
