The Leeds International Pianoforte Competition operates with a team of approximately 250 volunteers. Volunteer commitment can be as large or small as you wish to make, however we do ask that the Competition is able to rely on you for that commitment.

The 2012 Competition will be held from 29th August to 16th September. Futher details regarding volunteering opportunities for this competition will be released on this website nearer the time.

Areas of Interest:

Transport
Using own transport to drive competitors for piano practice and performances.                                     

Piano Host 
Making your piano available for competitor piano practice. Pianos must be of good quality.                           

Librarian
Knowledge and understanding of the competition repertoire is essential.                   

Great Hall Steward
Various duties at the performance sessions.              

Administration
Light administrative duties in the Piano Competition Office which will be temporarily located in the Great Hall and Leeds Town Hall for the duration of the competition.
