Leeds Town Hall
The Headrow, Leeds

The magnificent Leeds Town Hall was built in 1858 as a statement of civic pride, a reminder of the importance of Leeds as a centre of trade and commerce, and an indication of Victorian wealth. Queen Victoria herself performed the opening ceremony.

Leeds Town Hall is conveniently located in the centre of Leeds, next to Leeds Central Library and Leeds City Art Gallery. It is a five minute walk from Leeds City Rail Station and a 10 minute drive from the M1 and M62 motorways. The nearest car park to the Town Hall is the 24 hour secure car park in The Light, accessible via Great George Street. In the Town Hall, there is a lift to all floors and accessible toilets on the ground and first floors. There are a few spaces on the apron fronting the Town Hall for badge holders only. These are not reserved.
